Enrique Braxton May worked as a storyboard artist on ChalkZone. For his work on the episode "Pumpkin Love," May was nominated for an Annie Award.[1]
Early life[]
May worked for McCann Erickson during the mid-1970s as an art director. He graduated from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) in 1981, earning a bachelor of fine arts degree in film and video.[2]
Career[]
From 1985 to 1987, May was a character designer at Filmation, later designing props for Marvel and Warner Bros. in the early 1990s. He provided layouts to Werner - Beinhart! (1990)[3] and Once Upon a Forest (1993)[4] in addition to providing storyboards on A Goofy Movie (1995).[5]
He worked as a storyboard artist for Disney shows during the 1990s, including Goof Troop, Bonkers and Aladdin. May contributed to several episodes of Clifford the Big Red Dog. By the mid-2000s, he created storyboards for Krypto the Superdog, Scooby-Doo and Tom and Jerry. May has not been active in animation since 2009.
