Trivia

  • In airing order, this appears to be Penny's first visit to ChalkZone. However, her actual first visit was in "Rudy's Date", which originally aired as a short on Oh Yeah! Cartoons in 1999 and was aired with "Snapmobile" and "Future Zone" as the fourth episode of the series proper. "Snapmobile/Rudy's Date/Future Zone" is actually the second episode in production order, but was aired later. Because "French Fry Falls/Gift Adrift" was in production first, it aired first.
  • The Oh Yeah! Cartoons short "The Amazin' River" was included in this episode as the flashback sequence.
  • This episode reveals a lot about the relationship between Rudy and Biclops.
  • This was the last episode to feature an Oh Yeah! Cartoons short as a flashback; all other season one episodes would include them as a regular episode (as the rest of the shorts take place when Rudy is ten, as he is in the series, instead of eight).
  • This was one of the only episodes of ChalkZone to be released on home media, as it was included on the VHS and DVD of Nickstravaganza! 2, along with episodes of The Fairly OddParents, Invader Zim, and Rocket Power.
  • This episode marks the first appearance of Biclops in the series proper.
  • This is the first episode where Biclops is a friend to Rudy and the gang. In "The Amazin' River" (which was edited into this episode), he's an antagonist.
