"Mother Tongue" is the first segment of the seventh episode in Season 3 of ChalkZone.

Summary

Rudy and the gang encounter Mother Tongue, who causes you to speak gibberish after she licks you. Unfortunately, this happens just as Penny has an important speech.

• Suzy Williams, fellow singer and wife of co-creator Bill Burnett, guest-voices the character Mother Tongue.
• This is the first time Penny is shown crying. The second time occurs in "The Big Blow Up".
• According to the credits, although this episode was released in 2004, it was produced in 2003.
