Ronald "Ron" Brewer (born January 20, 1974) worked as a storyboard artist on ChalkZone. He has been active in animation since 1990.
Early life[]
Brewer was born in San Diego, California.[1] His father worked as an architect.[1] Brewer enjoyed watching cartoons on Saturday mornings as a child, and oftentimes provided animation to music videos with his brother playing the guitar.[1] Prior to animation, he worked as a stock clerk for a pharmaceutical warehouse.[1]
Career[]
As a computer artist, he colored black and white films.[1] In the early 1990s, Brewer was an animation director on Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.[1] He was a storyboard revisionist on Duckman during its fourth season,[1] and a storyboard artist on Family Guy.[2]
Brewer was art director on Mucha Lucha!. He served as a director on Pink Panther and Pals,[3] and directed the 2011 Christmas special A Very Pink Christmas.[4][5] Brewer stated he was proud of his work on the special.[1] In the late 2010s, he worked as a storyboard artist on Shimmer and Shine.
