Trivia:[]
- An earlier version of the theme song was included on the 2001 CD release of The Newest Nicktoons, despite the show not officially premiere on Nickelodeon yet While the song is almost exactly like it is in the series, there's a synthesizer playing where the electric guitar usually plays. According to Bill Burnett, this was the demo he made for the executives in order to get the greenlight for the theme, A second variation was released on the 2003 chalkzone In the Zone CD, which replaces the synthesizer with the electric guitar while the other pre-demo elements, such as Penny's original voice, retaining. The pilot that also aired on December 31, 1999, including not only a demo that was close to the final-cut version instrumentally and with a new voice actress Hynden Walch as Penny, but with some elements of the demo such as the "Rudy's Got the Chalk" chorus remains being more audible, but a slightly alternated opening with some minor alterations and an alternated logo were used. The episode also featured the original ending credits.
- An instrumental, more thematic version of the theme song appeared at the beginning of The Big Blow Up, also it had added with a similar music to the unused demo version. According to Bill Burnett, whom also composed the song, that was the intention for the song, done in slow 12/8 time.
- An instrumental version of the song has been used as background music in some episodes.
- Split-screen airings from 2003 onward, the ChalkZone theme, and The Big Blow Up often accidentally play the ending theme to The Fairly OddParents over the Frederator Studios Inc. and Nickelodeon Productions logos, due to The Fairly OddParents using the same ones.
- ChalkZone is one of the only few Nickelodeon shows openings that uses clips from other episodes, the only others being The Ren and Stimpy Show, Rocket Power, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, All Grown Up!, Back at the Barnyard, and The Mighty B!.
- In certain foreign-language dubs of the series, the spoken lines alongside Snap, Penny and Reggie were the only dubbed parts of the theme song. The dubs that do this are Dutch, German and Chinese.
- Even though the lyrics stay the same in most foreign-language dubs, the Greek version has fully alternated lyrics.
- It is unknown who voiced Penny in the demo version of the theme song.
- When Rudy's parents say "Rudy's got the chalk" in the intro, if we listen closely, the voice sounds similar to Wanda from The Fairly OddParents (another Frederator show).
