Snap Out of Water is the fourth ChalkZone short to premiere on Oh Yeah! Cartoons.
Synopsis[]
A new island has appeared in ChalkZone but Rudy falls into the rough waters of ChalkZone and Snap gets chased out of ChalkZone and lands in Rudy's classroom. Snap is forced to pretend he's an exchange student from Greenland until Rudy comes back.
Plot[]
During recess at Rudy's school, Rudy and Snap visit an island that recently appeared at the Wait N' Sea, packed with Beach Supplies such as a Beach Ball, and an Umbrella, and also brought a Picnic Basket. The two sail across the sea with different fishes and people also spending time in the water, and they finally arrived at the new, blank black island. Rudy draws a fire, to cook sausages upon Snap's request and also draws a multi-end stick for cooking, while Rudy is drawing a chair, the island suddenly shakes, screwing up the drawing of a chair. Rudy askes what happened, and Snap was about to suggest what it was before he got cut off by the ground slowly rising, revealing itself to be a big, black whale.
The whale blows water and swims at a very fast pace, Rudy is hanging on by the blowhole while Snap is trying to cover the fire with an umbrella, before the fire is eventually put out. The whale dives into the water with Rudy still hanging by the blowhole, and Snap being knocked out by the whale's tail and crashes into Rudy's classroom.
After crashing through several desks and chairs, Snap lands right in front of Penny's desk and greets her. Penny asks what Snap is doing in the real word and wonders where Rudy is. The scene cuts to Rudy being chased by hungry underwater lobsters. The scene then cuts back to the classroom where Penny suggests Snap goes back to ChalkZone before someone sees him. But Snap stays, as he wants to explore the place, he finds Rudy's desk and a paper drawing of Snap, and later finds Reggie's desk, which is the messiest desk in the classroom. The school bell rings as recess are over, and Penny tells Snap that he has to hide, she also notices the ChalkZone entrance portal still open and hides it with a projector screen pull-down.
After the class comes back from recess, Mr. Wilter starts class, not before noticing s a drawing on the chalkboard (Snap) and says someone has been doing rude drawings, He prepares to erase Snap, knowing his class knows how he feels about cartoons, but gets cut off by Reggie, who exclaims and questions who messed up his desk, he mentions that it will take him a month to reorganize. Mr. Wilter comments that Reggie's desk is always messed up, he looks at the chalkboard again and sees the rude drawing disappeared (As Snap immediately left the chalkboard when Mr. Wilter looked away) but goes along with class anyways. When Mr. Wilter takes attendance, he calls on Rudy, but Snap answers "Here!". Mr. Wilter notices how Snap isn't Rudy, Penny quickly pretends that Rudy was participating in a foreign exchange program and is being replaced by "Snap White", and Snap goes along with it. Snap also pretends he is from Greenland when asked where he is from by Mr. Wilter. Snap is asked another question, by Reggie, asking why he is blue if he is from Greenland, Snap answers that Greenland is very cold and the rest of the class agrees, Mr. Wilter comments how Reggie needs to pay more attention to Geography.
Reggie notices blue smudges on his failed Geography assignment and is immediately upset at Snap and throws him on his chair, planning a fight with him at recess. Snap shows no care for the situation and asks Penny what she wants to do after school, Penny instead asks why Rudy doesn't come back, while Reggie makes punching gestures towards Snap, Snap answers that he is having too much fun in ChalkZone. The scene cuts to Rudy NOT having fun in ChalkZone, and is losing a wrestling match to a Seven-Arm Octopus. The final school bell rings, and Snap is taken by Penny so he can get out of the school fast, not before being stopped by Reggie, reminding Snap about the fight, but is being interrupted by Mr. Wilter, who wants Reggie to stay after school, cleaning the chalkboard because of his messy desk and his warning about them.
Penny and Snap are finally outside, Penny tells Snap to stay outside, and mentions she'll come back when Reggie leaves, but Snap is instantly sidetracked by jump rope. Penny peeks into the classroom and sees Reggie still cleaning the chalkboard, while Mr. Wilter is reminding him to dust the erasers. Reggie erases the ChalkZone portal while being upset about not getting to beat up Snap. Penny gasps in shock that Rudy can't exit through the portal, Reggie looks out through the window to see Snap tangled in jump ropes, Reggie then quickly dusts the erasers and stomps outside in hopes of beating him.

- This is the first ChalkZone episode where Snap comes to the real world.
- The episode title is a pun on the phrase "Fish Out of Water."
